Hi All,
I've seen this discussed a few places in the past, but none seem to have the same issue as me:

My 2011 EX-L (non navigation) doesn't have bluetooth, so I connect my iphone via the USB cable port in the glove box with the correct Apple cord.
I usually get the 'UNSUPPORTED' notification within a minute or two of first plugging in. Then if I unplug, then plug back in, it usually works. Sometimes I have to repeat this a few times. After these first few 'UNSUPPORTED' notifications, it doesn't happen again until my next drive.
When I plug my old ipod in, I never get any errors.

It's really not a big deal, but I was wondering if anyone knew why this was happening intermittently.

Thank you

Hi Theman5,

Yes, I'm using the cord that came with the phone.
IOS could use an update, but through all previous IOS updates it's done the same thing.
