ok - we have been told that the seatback heater on the passenger seat is inactive due to the occupant/air bag detector - surely this is an easy fix/a joke - every other manufacturer has seat heaters in their seats as well as air bags - the drivers seat has both - granted without the occupant detector

has anyone figure a fix to actually activate the seatback heater for the passenger seat - there has to be a way all the wiring and tie ins are there -

There is no heater element in the back of the seat on the passenger side. You would need to add that to the seat for that area to warm. Here is a parts link. #8 is the heater element which is only in the base of the passenger side. The catalog is set to a 2011 EX-L AWD.

Hope that explains why the back on the passenger side doesn't warm. There is no element there to warm. Everything is not there as you had assumed.
