Hi all, coming over to the CR-V world from the Pilot world and need to get acquainted with the new vehicle (actually it's my wife's, but I digress).

Does somebody have a picture of where the drain bolt is for the transmission fluid?

I am guessing the easiest way to fill it is through the dipstick tube? That's what I did with the Pilot.

Also, does somebody know the torque spec for that bolt?

Thanks!

Hello jumpy,
When you are looking under the front of the V you will see the large silver cover plate where you change the oil and filter. Now just in front of that plate about 3 inches you will find a small plastic cover with one screw on each side. Take out the screws and the cover will hinge down. The drain bolt is right there. The torque is 35 ft lbs . You will need about 3.5 qts +~ of Dw-1 and a new crush washer. Fill from the dipstick. No need to even raise the car, just park on a level spot and reach under the front bumper.
