My CD player needs to be replaced, and according to the Honda parts look up, utilizing my VIN, it shows part number as:
39100-T0A-A21. The replacement part (used) has a tag/number of 39100-T0A-A213-M1 on the back of it.

My concerns, 1) is this a direct replacement and 2) what is the meaning of the additional 3-M1 on the replacement part?

Any and all help would really be appreciated!!!!

Wow, you only got 2-3 years out of the OEM radio? Is your vehicle still under warranty?

Just a suggestion, but i would just replace it with an aftermarket unit for much less money with way more features.

Yes, only 2-3 years and all CDs skip like crazy............and I'm out of warranty. According to the Honda dealer the last 3 digits/characters refer to the manufacturer of the radio/cd, and I only need to match the first portion of the part number. Hope that's correct!!
