Hi! I tried to lock my 2014 CRV last week and pressed lock on the fob a few times and it wasn’t responding so I pushed a few more times and ended up setting the car alarm off.
In the end it turns out my seatbelt was stuck in the door. So I opened it, took the seatbelt out, shut the car door, and it locked.
However, since then when I try to lock the car door instead of 1 press triggering the lights to flash and 2 presses triggering the horn to beep it NOW 1 press sets the car alarm to chirp and 2 presses sound like its going through some alarm cycle.

HELP!! It’s driving me and my neighbors a bit batty! Thanks in advance

First I have never had or heard of this problem before now. Since it occurs with both fobs the problem resides with the car. I would disconnect the negative cable from the battery for about 30 second and see if that reset/clears the issue. If that doesn't help, I would go into the custom settings in your display and under Defaults select "reset all".
