I discovered a fix for what was a pet peeve for a while.
When I was parked and waiting for something (appointment, meeting, etc.) and put the CRV in Accessory mode (press start without brake) so I could listen to the radio, the Clock would disappear from the Mid-Screen. I wanted to watch the time while I waited, so it was annoying. I assume most drivers are 'waiting' for something if they are sitting parked and listening to the radio, and therefore might want to see the clock.
But I found that I could restore the clock screen while in Accessory mode by using the 'Screen' button on the left side of the steering wheel. The Accessory notice screen comes on automatically at first. But you can cycle thru the various screens with this steering wheel button and get the Clock Screen back on.
I don't know why it took me 4 months to figure this out. But maybe this post will help the next novice as well.
