Hi :)

Got a quote from a dealer for 2016 CRV EX 2WD. Here is the detail -

Sale Price: 24850
Documentation & Fees: 375
Tax @ 8.75: 2382

Total On the Road price: $ 27,600

Is it worth it? Any better quotes you got? From which dealer?

for a 2WD, that's definitely too high.

Do a google search for "cr-v prices paid" .. you should see an Edmunds thread about it.

2WD - $23045 (Bay Area, SF)
4WD - $23875 (Chicago)

Those are the two best prices I've seen on Edmunds posters.

Which dealer in the bay area are you getting that quote from?

Which dealership are you thinking of buying from?

Let me know when you decide to buy from a dealership in the bay area.

I might buy one.. still debating to wait for the new 2017 model (redesign).

But if the deal is good enough.. we can buy two and get a sweeter deal :)

New Car & Driver came yesterday - says the '17 CR-V is essentially unchanged. As for the quote, what the hell is documentation ?? Sounds like a nice little profit center to me ! Craig

Interesting. They state on their website that they will skip 2017 and release 2017 as 2018. So I guess they are technically correct.

Points towards say an April release of the new model. Honda's model releases have been getting delayed and slower.

Pinned a few dealers against one another to get my '16 EX in AWD for $24,500 just outside of Boston last week. Very happy.

I'm in Mass, looking for a CRV. Can you message me with the dealership name? I've gotten offers for $25,750 for an SE, which should be much lower than the EX
