2016 CRV 2WD
It only took 2.5 quarts of the Honda HCF-2 CVT fluid to get the overflow from the Check Bolt hole. Shifted through all the gears, and refilled to get the Check Bolt overflow, but was only 2.5 quarts. Vehicle was on flat surface. The owners manual says it takes 3.9 quarts. Wondering if the owners manual is wrong? Have any of you changed CVT fluid on 2016 model? Thanks

I have 2WD. I think it's supposed to be 3.9 qt for mine.
My wife's CRV is a 2016 SE 2WD-took exactly 3 full quarts and I had 150ml left in the last (4th) bottle. I drained 4 quarts out of the CVT prior to that so our V doesn't seem to have been overfilled as were other member vehicles.
I took some very interesting pictures while changing the fluid so I will post a separate thread on that later.
