Why does the 2016 Touring not have an audio input jack to the sound system? Is there a way to input to the sound system other than Bluetooth?

I believe you have two other options for interfacing audio/video, the HDMI interface (rather pricey) and using a USB flashdrive. The Bluetooth interface has worked quite well for me during the short time I've had my CR-V.

Can you plug whatever the device in with the USB/Charging cable? (there are two USB ports in the center console) This will give you a digital connection, as well as charge it at the same time. (vs the analog audio jack) Depending on the device, the song list/controls may even appear on the vehicle's screen.

Thumbs up.
Use a charging cable and your iPhone will appear as a iPod for music.
