Kind of vague here.Shopping for a used crv touring: buy the 2017 or 2018? Looking to save some money but I’ve read about 2017 problems. Seeking advice.
Vague questions and statements beget vague answers. And there is a LOT of junk information about CRVs on the internet.
Regardless what you may have read on the internet, there is no notable reliability difference between 2017s and 2018s. Early issues with the 2017s and 2018s were addressed by field campaigns by Honda to correct any issues at no charge to the owner.
Miles, service records, number of owners, Title History..... are all major factors when considering a used vehicle. Much more so than any early and now largely corrected issues with the first two years of the generation5 CRVs. The single biggest unknown with a used vehicle though is how was it treated in driving by the prior owner(s). If it was driven like a throw away rental vehicle... it is more abused and hence more worn out.
