Thank you for the kind info!
Resale doesn't matter if you keep a car for 10+ years.....Not in a million years.
The lx resale is horrible

Just about as cool as yours.....:beb:Cool story
I have a 06 with the 2.4 and a Standard Trans.DeadstockNYC, you don't have to be so rude. I agree for the money the ex is a better deal, but there are thousands of CRV owners that do have od issues. I just prefer the 2.4l engine but wish the ex features were offered. Time will tell if the turbo will hold up as well as the 2.4l.
I wouldn't worry about the CVT. Honda has made a reliable CVT and there are plenty of high mileage vehicles with it now. My Civic has the CVT but only has 73k miles on it and I haven't had any problems. There is a guy on bobistheoilguy.com with a 2015 Civic CVT with over 222k miles and he said it hasn't given him any problems at at.I have only heard good things about the 2.4l which is why I decided to buy the 18 lx. But the power seats, led lights and safety features would be great. Or at least offered as a option to purchase separately. I hope to keep for many years and am actually more concerned about the cvt long term reliability than engine.
Hello Matt in Kentucky,I ended up buying a 18 LX model to avoid the O.D. and lack of heat issues. So far I am happy with vehicle overall. (power seats would be awesome). I wish Honda would have continued to offer the great features only available on the EX and higher models for the LX model. I was just curious if anyone else felt the same way, basically keeping the reliable 2.4l engine but still offering higher end features.
