I Just purchased a New 2019 CR-V color Molten Lava I am planning to keep it a long time
I had expel (clear protectant installed on hood, mirrors, frontfenders, and inside the door handles.) The dealer is recommending that I wax the car now and then every 4 months if outside and 6 months if garaged and not driven a lot.
So every one has a favorite wax. Do i use paste or liquid wax I want to do by hand no machine. there are so many products Klasse, Meguiars, Wolfgand, Pinnacle ...
Ive used Mcguiars in the past a long time again (been years since I had a car i needed to wax)
any replies greatly appreciated in Brookings Oregon

The synthetic liquid waxes/polishes work well, give a great shine and wipe off easily. Between wax/polish applications and after going thru a car wash, I’ve been using Mequiar’s waterless wash and wax spray. I spray it on a microfiber rag vs spraying it directly on the paint. I also use a “California Duster” almost daily.....takes <5 minutes.
