2019 CRV Seats/Venting

Since you've tried different back pads and they didn't help, another thing to try is to add seat bottom pad. This would raise you up an inch or two and your back muscles would press on a different portion of the curved seat.
You would lower your seat by the same amout so you're at the same driving height as before the pad.
I just got a used 2016 LX and my back would ache after 30 minutes. A basic seat, no lumbar adjustment. I'm very short, 5' 3". I got a thick foam/gel car seat cushion from Costco to help reduce the vibrations I felt through the seat. It helped but a side benefit was my back no longer ached. You could even adjust the steering wheel height/depth in case you're leaning forward/backward differently compared to your previous 2016 model driving position. It maybe worth a shot before giving up on your car.
