Stock non touring is halogen. Go with HIDs. Led light pattern is usually a miss with terrible scattered light output. I put hids in mine and love it. It is so bright and the output is very uniform. I have the ddm plus kit 5500k

17+LX, EX & EX-L are Halogen with projectors
17+ Touring is LED

You can put LED/HID kit on the Halogen options and get a decent pattern

I opted to pull the EX headlight housing & swapped in a set of touring LED setup, way better output at night & looks better imo
I'll be pulling the front end again soon for the Mugen Grill

I have the Touring trim so no experience on this vehicle with upgrades. I also have a Honda Gold Wing motorcycle that I upgraded to LEDs. I can't confirm or refute the HID > LED comment; but I have learned that when upgrading a stock headlamp, the positioning of the light source is extremely critical so it uses the reflector properly. This is even more critical than lumens of light output. HIDs may indeed do this better than the LED choices available. This was an expensive lesson on my motorcycle (four headlamps), which is now outfitted with a second set of spectacular LEDs that doesn't blind oncoming drivers.
