I've purchased a brand new 2021 CRV EX-L (I'm excited!) but I'm wondering if there are any aftermarket Qi charging mats that fit into the car or if I can purchase a Honda OEM part (from the Touring edition?) and install it.

There are some for the 2019 CRV but they specifically say they don't work on the 2020 or 2021 models.

Thanks so much for the reply. I've seen that one you linked but it specifically says it's not compatible for the 2020 CRV (and I'm assuming the 2021 won't work either).

The website shows a more expensive model for a 2020 CRV so I'm not sure about 2021.

How similar are the 2020 and 2021 CRV EX-L? I'm also interested in upgrading to a large Android-based (Joying, etc) headset someday but they are only available for 2020 and no mention of 2021 CRV model compatibility.

Got it ... thanks so much for the information. I've already signed the paperwork for the 2021 CRV EX-L (leased for 36 months) and I think I got a fair deal.

I'm a software developer (aka nerd) so I'm interested in the head unit and what's it's capable of. I've always been fearful of the Joying stuff because most cheap Android hardware is junk.

I've also discovered Honda Hack (which should work on the 2021 if it's the same as 2020?). I'm aware of the warranty concerns but I'm definitely interested in playing around with it. I just wish the head unit had a better processor and perhaps a larger screen.

I had the same problem with my 2020 but I did order one of these and it fits a treat
when my car went in for its first service the garage they said how good it looked

Wait, how does this work on the 2020 model if they replaced the cigarette lighter with two USB ports as mentioned above?

Gotcha. I have a lot to learn about Honda and CRVs. I've driven a 2010 RAV4 and then a 2018 RAV4 Hybrid so this is my first Honda.
