Entered my VIN and the recall doesn't come up for my 2023 Sport. Called my dealer and was told it doesn't affect all 2023's. Not sure I believe they actually knew about the recall so they might have just been trying to get me off the phone..

Honda says it affects certain, meaning not all CRVs. Maybe yours isn't included.

I read that it only affects vehicles produced between Dec 13 and Dec 19 which is 98 total. And of those 98 about 28 will have the actual defect. So it’s a pretty small number, but still important to check.

If you follow the link to the website, on the pull down menus there is a selection for Crv and Crv Hybrid. It seems to only affect the non-hybrid models.

Dealerships rely on their computers to track and tell them the eligibility of any particular VIN for any recall or TSB. This is Honda policy by the way, and reliance on Honda feeding updates to their central VIN databases speeds up the process of any recall or TSB and that they are applied only to VINs Honda has identified as requiring it.
