I took my 2006 SE out on the trails this weekend, and I have to say I was impressed. Not only did we have no problem in deep sand and deep mud, but we even pulled out a few small trucks. It's totally, stock, except an airbox mod and safari bar. I had it in mud almost to the Windows, and it pull right through. My next investment will be some slightly larger A/Ts

nice, sounds like you had fun. Did u pull out other vehicles that were stuck with your CRV ? that is impressive.
Did u air down on the sand / mud or just normal tire pressure ?

The Tacoma flooded its engine in one of those mud spots and we were the only other ones there so we hooked up and yanked him out. I was really surprised at the capability of the 2nd gen

Whoops, I just noticed yours is a 2006. Either way, what safari bar did you use? I want to get one and put some lights on it.
