Just purchased a 2021 CR-V EX AWD this past weekend here in Ohio. We love the car so far.
MSRP $30535
Negotiated it down to $28005
Can you let us know what your total, OTD price was? Sometimes dealerships get us to focus on the basic sticker price, make it look good, then sit down at the desk and try to float out high document fees, prep, etc, claiming that it's totally normal and act like we should have expected it.

Hi folks, paying it forward with more info as this thread helped a ton in our research.

Purchased in Highland Park, IL Feb 2021

2021 CR-V Hybrid EX-L - Obsidian Blue Pearl
MSRP-$33,150
Sale price-$32,900

Taxes: $2,474.29 (IL is 8% plus Lake and Cook county fees, slightly reduced with trade-in)
Title and local fees $175 title, 303.60 document fee
Out the door $33,577

Also qualified for 0% financing for 48 months.
Opted for Honda Care @ $1,250 for 8 years, 100k miles

I'm sure we didn't get the absolute best deal possible but it was in our range. The process was extremely easy and we're happy/comfortable with the results.
Thank you for your sharing.
For OTD price$ 33,577, does his include tax, title and document fee?

Well done! I paid $25K for my new EX AWD in 2012, and today's has a lot more features!

Agreed to this deal today. Going tomorrow to finalize and take delivery. Local availability of Hybrid EX certainly limited my options. Some dealers were only offering 3-4% off MSRP. This dealer started with a competitive offer and I was able to negotiate a decent and reasonable deal that I'm happy with.

Model2021 CR-V Hybrid AWD EX - Luna Silver
MSRP$31,735.00
Discount$3,271.31
Discount %10.31%
Adjusted Price$28,463.69
Add-ons$695.00 ( Splash Guards, Wheel Lock, Trunk Tray and Nitrogen which I hate )
Dealer also agreed to tint front windows for no additional.
Total Purchase$29,158.69
Final Discount %8.12%
Doc Fee$698.00
TN Taxes & Tag/Title$2,393.31
Final Purchase$32,250.00

I tried to make a deal earlier for a 2020 Hybrid EXL, but the dealer wouldn't go beyond 9% of MSRP, partially because of ludicrous $1,250 add-on packages.

Not enough info. ~$600 difference between negotiated price and 'OTD' seems to be missing some data. Which is why OTD is a useless value on the internet. What did you trade in that was only worth $2k?

2012 Nissan Rogue with 150k on the clock that needed ~$3k in repairs.

other big fees: $699 doc fee-unfortunately pretty standard in GA if a bit high and 6.6% TAVT.

Hi everyone! I need some help here . I am in NY long island. I am looking for 2021 Crv ex-l AWD which has 33125 Msrp including destination fee. I went to about 2 dealers and they only provided the invoice price for me. It is around 31600. Which is about 341600 otd price. Is it a good deal or bad deal during this time? I wonder if I can get a better deal. No trade in or others deduction. Only 0% apr for 48 month. Thank you guys!

Bought my new CR-V on March 1st, 2021; I live in Chicago and bought it in the suburbs.

2021 Honda CR-V
LX
AWD
Metallic Modern Steel
Power 1.5 T

Paid $28,565 OTD; also qualified for the 48 months 0% APR. They initially offered me ~$33,300 OTD which was pretty rough, even for my area. That price included a base selling price of around $27,500 + $3,000 in taxes/fees + $3,000 in dealer accessories (windshield protection plan, some sort of anti-chip paint coating, window tint, and all-season floor mats).

I ended up getting all of the accessory fees removed as well as a few thousand off base price... although the tint and anti-chip was already installed so I got to keep those anyway, and they left me the all-season mats despite removing the $600 they were gonna charge.

Here's the final price breakdown:
Car price: $25,470
Doc fee: $304
Sales tax: $1,870
County tax: $273
Chicago tax: $322
Registration/license/tag: $301
Other fees: $25
$28,565 OTD

I'm pretty happy with the price. By no means an amazing deal, but doesn't feel like a total rip-off, either, considering some of the extra fees and taxes in this area. I was in a bit of a hurry to buy the car (new job with a 2 hour commute by train vs a 45 commute by car... so yeah, wanted a car), but when I looked up prices online at this location and several others, this location was the cheapest by a little over $1,000.

Hi everyone, I got this offer for
2021 EXL AWD
Metallic gray (gray interior)
With tinted windows, all season mats, splash guards, and wheel locks.
Price 31,000 OTD

Dealer asked for 33,200. Managed to bring down to 31,264. I brought this price to another dealer and they dropped to 31,000 OTD. Should I accept this price? I live in midwest area.

after reading these posts I feel like I got a pretty decent deal. Beautiful car! Fun to drive. I’ve always had a V-6 Accord but have been dreaming of having my own little Go-Go Gadget car! This really is that!
