About one month ago, a mechanic replaced my master cylinder, clutch and engine mounts. After that, the battery light started coming on. Had it checked out by mechanic, who said computer, battery, starter and alternator were all "great". He test drove it on city streets but not on freeway. Light only comes on after 10 mins at 65mph. Stays on intermittently. Then, after 40 mins more, speedometer and tachometer die, and ABS light comes on, and then car dies. It can be restarted by jump pack. Had to be towed home last night, but now able to start it this morning, but I can tell battery was drained.

You need a new mechanic.

Problem likely is a loose belt from the sounds of it. Its slipping so alternator cant charge properly at higher rpm (has nothing to do with vehicle speed, its constant higher engine RPM).
