So, the other day my Air con suddenly was not blowing cold air. When I touched the low pressure pipe from the compressor, it didn't feel cold at all. So I took it to my nearest ac shop and get it topped up with new freon. Now I noticed when I put the temp at 32c, the compressor still engages intermittently. Is this normal behavior? I thought when I put the temp at the hottest, the compressor shouldn't engage at all.

if the AC is on it will still cycle the compressor with the temperature all the way hot, just like defrost in the winter does,it lowers the humidity in the air
