I bought a 2018 CRV- EXL in January 2018. My very first Honda. And I am so sorry I did. Paid cash. This was to be my car to carry me through the rest of my life. But I have Never been able to get the HondaLink to work.
I have begged. I have made video after video to prove it doesn't work. I begged again for my dealer to help me.
It all started when the module said my iPhone was missing '.apk files in the root directory' It took me a year to find out that .apk files are Android phone files. Honda support did not tell me this. Neither did Apple.
The (what d es everyone else call it? HeadUnit?) still does not work. January next year will be the official 2 year anniversary of one of the worst decisions of my life.
