First time I've had android auto in the car. Loving it so far. However, when I was setting up options on the android auto app on my phone without it connected to the car, I noticed it was showing texts I had with Textra, I know textra has just recently updated the app to be compatible with android auto. But when I plug the phone in, it doesn't show the Textra messages like the standalone Android Auto did, and a few other apps also.

Anyone know how to update the version of Android Auto on the car itself? Do we need to wait on Honda to get an update and they do it manually?

I'd say that it's Textra or Android Auto that needs the work... The car has no control over which apps Android Auto displays/uses... it lets the phone talk to the screens, mic, and speakers, (and GPS, if appliable.)
