Any long term experience with using the OEM rear seat cover?

We have some very messy kids/toddlers and were looking in to getting the OEM rear seat cover.
(I don't have enough posts to include a link but it is the neoprene one that you can get from Honda - College Hills looks to have the best price)

We just got a 2017 CRV but I thought I would ask the folks on this board as I'm hoping you might have longer term experience with using the cover

More specifically:

- Did it work well....easy to clean, prevent damage to seats etc.
- How did it hold up/wear and tear?
- Worth getting overall? ... it s not cheap
- Other options to consider?

Thanks

I bought it in January 2015. My dog (German Shepherd) was in my back seat every single day until just recently when she passed away.

My front seats have not work so well, so I am glad I got these for the back seat. No regrets and it has held up pretty well.

The only thing I have not done is wash the covers. I am afraid to dis-assembly it knowing that I will have to re-assemble it. The dealer installed it so not sure what is involved.

It is pretty thick, has a rubberized back side and a wetsuit like on the side that shows. They are very well made.
