Any ways to reduce vibrations from the road?

Hi, 2019 CRV owner here. 1200km and loving it so far. My only problem with it that I tend to get fairly dizzy while driving it, when I meet some bumpy roads. I could just live with it, but I was wondering if there are some aftermarket solutions for these kind of problems. I'm fairly new to cars, so I don't even know the right terms for anything right now..
I've heard aluminum low arms help reduce low frequency vibrations, although I've also heard that's a myth. What I think I'm feeling right now is low frequency vibrations, so I guess it's related, but then again, I really don't know anything.

Welcome to the forum! It sounds a bit alarming if you are getting dizzy while driving! I think I'd go see a doctor about that. Let us know how this goes.

Compared to a car, the higher seating position in an SUV causes slightly greater head toss on an uneven bumpy road.

And maybe you're especially sensitive to your head's motion. And that might make you dizzy.

So might nasal congestion or an ear infection.

(If you're looking for a legal defense or an excuse for "feeling dizzy", well, good luck -- especially since you've already driven 1200 km presumably without incident.)

Anyway, for a small SUV, the 2019 CRV has terrific ride & handling: "Honda also nailed the fine balancing act between a supple ride and relatively sporty handling. 'I want to call out the ride and handling balance because it's just that good...'"

So I'd be dis-inclined to modify your CRV. I won't modify my 2019 CRV EX.

All that said, you might find some improvement with suspension upgrades. Springs, struts, comfort-oriented tires... maybe a coilover set-up or air suspension. But you could spend thousands and end up with something that doesn't help. Or actually makes it worse.

I might have some difficulty relating, since I spent forty some years bouncing down the road in a big truck.
I installed 2019 accord touring wherls on my crv with goodyear Weather ready tires. Both reduced the sound n vibrations drrastically.

some honda & acura models have the noise reducing strips to pulll road noise to the wheels vs the cabin.

So while stock had just ANC helping, noe i have the harmonic strips, the quieter tires and ANC.

if i dont die from covid i’ll sound deaden it as well lol

Vincent, this may or may not be causing your dizziness. The vehicle has an automatic noise canceling (ANC) system, some people are sensitive to ANC and experience headaches or dizziness. Honda didn't provide a means to turn off ANC in the CRV, but it can be unplugged. You might ask your dealer to unplug it to see if it makes any difference. You can also disconnect the ANC yourself to see if it helps. This is a link with instruction to do this.

I think Traylaw may be right about the ANC messing with your inner ear as the source of your perceived dizziness.

Worth a try disabling it, rather than making suspension changes to an already optimally tuned suspension system.

Is your tire pressure correct? That's easy to check and adjust. Sounds like the tires are over-inflated.

Just noticed the OP is banned, after one post. How can one get banned after one post that had no offensive content?
