I have an old iPod classic that i plug into my Honda 2018 CRV for music. I noticed that the integration only plays songs in alpha/numeric order. You are unable to select playlists, select individual songs or select the shuffle option. Has anyone else seen this? Is there a workaround to make the Apple iPod Classic more accessible?

I've never had an issue with my iPod Classic(s).

It's best to NOT plug the iPod into the left usb port but rather the right one...this allows you/me the ability to access the iPod.

Additionally you can access the iPod via the touchscreen interface to access the playlist/Artists/etc. from either usb port...you just have to wade through a few menus...

Good Luck!

I'm using my old Ipod Touch, and while I can play individual songs, I've noticed that album and song shuffle do not work, although the shuffle icon on the head display does light. I am using the left port, I think, so I'll try the other port, too.

My Zune isn't recognized at all, darn it!
