Aug 99 Model CRV - Intermittent fault, can hear the relay clicking on and off when I wobble the gear selector shifter, selector light flashes along with the Reverse lights, Couldn't find it anywhere on the Transmission, is it a switch in the column?

where is your shifter, on the column or in a console between the seats? Okay, you mentioned column. Should be a contact switch at the end of the shift lever, sorry stay in the column.

The transmission range position switch is on the bottom of the transmission at the right side. There is a black cover bolted on over it. If you replace it, you need to get one for a 99-01 CR-V specifically, because the 97-98 shifting is different.
