On the CRV 2022 hybrid touring how do you read the battery charging on far left shows 75% however top of panel in green about 1/3 charged.

I'm not sure what you're asking, particularly about the top green panel. My green bar moves depending upon the regenerative braking, so a hard stop will fill the 'bar', but that isn't a 1:1 ratio with the battery itself - it's showing that energy is recharging the battery.

In my '22 hybrid touring the battery level goes from about 1/4 at the bottom to completely full, depending upon what I'm doing. The battery charge level seems to float between 1/4 and 3/4 full during normal driving; slow braking after going freeway speeds will usually top it off.

Here are the relevant pages if you are having trouble finding them. Neither of these gauges require any attention from, or any action, on the part of the driver. They are purely “information “.

To answer the original question, I think you're confusing "state of charge" with "rate of charge". The battery gauge on the left shows the total battery charge. The semicircular bargraph above the speedometer shows the power flow (i.e. the rate of charge or discharge). Green (on the left) is charging the battery, and blue (on the right) is discharging the battery (or generator, as the case may be).
