my 2014 crv battery died July 2016, last month and yesterday. While dealer think average life is 5 years, just like my last crv; does anyone have similar experience?

My 2013 CRV battery died 3 weeks ago after 4 years of faithful service. I replaced it with an EverStart Maxx 51R from Walmart since it has a killer warranty and was cheaper than all the auto parts stores and the dealership.

Any time after three years of usage is a bonus. That's their "sell by" date.

Batteries can be unpredictable.
I got my V in 2012 and didn't have any battery issues
but I knew the battery was at least 5 years old.
I didn't want to get to the car-- anywhere--and have a dead one.
So I bought a new Interstate this year so I don't have to worry about it.
Get a good quality battery for replacement.

Battery in my 2014 died just after 3 years. I got a AAA battery replacement. It has a slight increase in power. I think its a 500. It has a 3 year 100 % replacement and 108 month prorated warranty.
