Hi,

I have a 2012 CRV. I live in a warm climate so I know that this is not due to any freezing. There is wiper fluid in the car. Are the front and rear wiper fluid systems connected and what might cause this to happen?

Do you use your washers infrequently? If so, some brands of washer fluid can clog up the little jets that spray the water onto the glass.

Try turning your ignition to the run position. Actuate the washers and listen for a noise (that indicates the pump motor is going). Do this for the front and rear washers. Are the pumps working?

After doing this, look at the nozzles front & rear. Is anything coming out (even a drip)?

To answer your question, the F & R systems have separate pumps, but they share a common reservoir.

I have seen it where the hose has come loose and disconnected and not spray on a 4Runner. Exactly what your describing. Trace the line from the reservoir under the hood and look for a connection in the line that has come disconnected.
