I tried searching for this info but came up empty.

I usually replace the standard brake bleeders with speed bleeders in just about all of my vehicles. They work great, are inexpensive, and make the bleeding job so much faster and easier.

In my 93 Legend, I used Russell speed bleeders #639610.
In my 04 TSX, I used the same #639610, which is a 10mm X 1.25 bleeder.

There are only a few different sized bleeders used by Honda and Acura, but I want to be sure of the correct size for my 08 CRV before I buy. The Russell bleeder website does not list 2008 CRV - they only go up to 2001. I called them and they do not know the correct bleeder size for 08 CRV.

Can someone advise what the proper bleeder size is for the 08 CRV?

I'm going to do the brakes soon and I want to install the speed bleeders while I'm in there.

Thanks!

Did some more searching and backed into the answer.

Carlson # H9421 is listed as the correct standard brake bleeder screw for 86-95 Legend, 04-12 TSX, and 97-11 CRV. Since I've already used Russell # 639610 in my Acuras, then this is the same part for the CRV.

Hope this helps someone else who comes after me....
