I was just lied to by my dealer and would like to know if any of you have had a brake fluid flush and how many miles on your car did you have, when it was recommended.
Agreed, it may be a little soon. But I'll also say that I've flushed my brake systems fewer times than I really should have. I haven't died yet, but the pedal does get spongy as the fluid ages and takes on moisture. I bought a DIY hydraulic pump to bleed them with, so I don't need another person to assist me anymore.
I also don't do it every 3 yrs or sooner but I think it is a good recommendation. I'm lucky if I do it every 5 yrs.
I installed speed bleeder valves last time to make it easier but I seem to keep procrastinating more as I get older.
Not good.
I also use the Valvoline Dot 3&4 brake fluid.
I'm a rebel and I don't use Honda WW fluid either.

My 2018 just gave a MM Code 7. Brake fluid change. 25 months 23000 miles. Having it done with next oil change.
2018 manual says do at 3 years if MM Code 7 hasn't appeared.
