Welcome to the forum! I'd love to see a picture of the switch in question. Or a link. There are several places on the firewall where harnesses and other stuff are fed through. Try looking at parts diagrams on the online parts suppliers' sites, such as hondapartsnow.com, etc., that show the firewall.
