Hi all, My red C is so cute...but I need to ask about a couple of impact incidents, To see if anyone thinkS the car should be looked at by a mechanic amd may likely need repairs...
I think it's probably nothing more than hurt cosmetics, and hurt pride. A body shop could probably give you an estimate to fix what is damaged, but 1) you probably have a deductible and 2) if you're in a state like Michigan (where we have the highest auto insurance rates in the country, and an insurance industry with their hooks into the political machine), there is no telling what it may do to your rate.

It sounds like your bumper cover might have scraped on the cement. And yes, there are inexpensive clips that hold it in place. They can often be reached from beneath the CR-V without having to remove anything else. It's probably best to have someone at least replace the clips so nothing is flopping around back there.

Are you saying the rear hatch was backed into? Hopefully it is still opening and closing OK. It does not take much to knock the alignment off, unless it was minor enough.
