Hi there guys! I just got a 2016 Honda CRV LX, and next to the parking sensor button there’s this button that I still can’t figure out what’s for. I did my best researching Google but no luck.

See picture below. Can you guys please help me?

I looked it up in the Owners Manual and it’s not there. It’s the figure of a car with what looks like a sensor coming down from the top of the car.

Look's like it might keep flying saucers (aliens) away? I did not see it in the owners manual either. Isn't that strange. Might be worth a trip to a dealer for explanation.

@Sebaflores2000, what country are you in? (Or perhaps we should ask, for what market was your CR-V produced?)

Unlikely to be North American. I don't think an LX here would have parking sensors? :confused2:

It's the switch to turn the ultrasonic sensor off. Part of your security system .

@GeoffG if keep aliens away, I will turn it off! Believe it or not, three mechanics at the dealer had no clue. One of them even mentioned an alarm system. ?

@Carbuff2 I’m in Argentina. Its manufactured in Mexico.

@Rocky thanks mate! “Ultra Sonic Sensor Off”. Never heard of. I will do research. I think it might even be disconnected, because the indicator led doesn’t work.
