any 5th gen owner has this? when i push the gas pedal i hear a distinct buzz, like an electrical sound or a speaker on static.. its loud enough to notice even with low music on.. i have about 800 miles on the crv.. if i remove my foot on the pedal it goes away.. happens at 20-40 mph i think
Have you made any changes to the sound system, like changed or added a woofer? If so the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) can cause the speakers to buzz. Note that the ANC works even when the sound system is turned off. Perhaps the ANC is faulty.
"...all CR-V models now come with Honda's Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) system. This uses a pair of microphones placed in the cabin to pick up low-frequency engine noise, which it then cancels out with signals played in antiphase on the stereo."
well..well...wel...well...someone finally I believe has checked in with a similar issue I have. (noted in a previous "buzzing" thread) had no idea the crv now comes with anc modules. i'll have to check this out...
no mods or anything, its not super loud but it is very distinct coming from the left side, i asked my friend on the passenger he cant hear any noise. anyhow i will have the dealer look and mention the anc, see what they say
oh man i see you just mentioned you hear it on the left side. i actually hear it somewhere around the glove box/dash area. actually right where the anc area per se...
