Has the error reappeared, if not I would not worry.If it has I have a Haynes manual for an 06 it shows it to be a
keyed washer like thing on the end of the cam shaft,probabley a magnetic device,it says to look for damage to
this washer.In which case it can be replaced by undoing the nut on the end of cam shaft and holding the shaft
after the bearing with a hexogon.taking note of the position in which the washer sits for the new one.Hope this helps.

Just had a thought I'd watched' Eric the car man' on' you tube' doing the timing chain on his Honda Element which even if it dosn't need doing it is worth watching so you will know where things are,plus he did say a sensor
error could be a stretched chain.Good Luck.
