A truck in front of me dropped a tree branch which I couldn’t avoid and ran over. It sounded like it tore the front off the car. When we pulled over the only damage we saw was a flat tire. When the tow truck driver came to change the tire he said that was something he’d never seen. The rim was cracked all the way around. Is this something that is a warranty or do I just buy a new rim and tire? Does anyone know?

If you have the wheel protection plan honda offers yes.

But for a crv oem rim, just pop on ebay and buy a takeoff and call it a day for $200.

I just sold my oem complete set for $350

Impact damage is probably pretty obvious. So I wouldn't expect anything. You'll also need to replace the tire.
