I have a 2010 Honda CR-V, 2 wheel drive. I’m engine light is on, I took it to autozone and they said the canister purged valve needs to be replace. Honda wants to charge me $283, $210 of that is for labor cost. Can anyone suggest the best way to handle this situation or if it actually needs to be replaced

It could be other things besides the Purge Valve, like a split hose....

Best action is to take it to a shop that can properly test it. (Dealers and independent Honda specialists will have the proper diagnostic tools that can 'actuate' the valve independently)
