After battery change, put radio code in. Now CD player operates, but no radio. Just static. Help!

Low voltage can 'confuse' vehicle electronics.

SO, I'd try resetting the power once more:

Disconnect battery ground terminal for 15 minutes. Touch the + and - leads together just before reconnecting to dissipate residual voltage.

Re-enter the code...report back.

PS: Make sure you cannot twist the battery terminals when tightened. Some batteries have small terminals and require shims for good connections.

See if anything here might help: https://itstillruns.com/reset-after-putting-new-battery-5938268.html
I would try Carbuff2's suggestion if you can't get it going. Some info on pages 136-137 of your owner's manual. Are you tuned to a strong station, etc.? Presets are lost when the battery is disconnected.

PS: Any chance you somehow touched the antenna connection? I am just guessing since I don't even know where that is on my CRV.
