Hi Fellows,
I have a nasty issue with the central lock of my 2008 Honda CRV.
Basically all the locks are working except that upon opening them either with key, RC or driver's side master switch it locks itself back within 1 second. The only way to bypass this is to open any door during the the 1 second gap when the doors are unlocked and the central lock has not locked them back again or to keep the mechanical door lock pushed until the lock-back procedure is over.
I know the vehicle has automatic door lock and unlock programming which settings I changed successfully but it did not resolve the issues.
Anyone has some info on the CL system? The door locks are mechanical with a two terminal electrical motor in it for electric locking and unlocking. That I discovered by removing one of them.
What can be faulty one of the door locks or the master switch unit?
Any help is much appreciated.
