Anyone know how to control the home screen that comes up when you start the car? mine always comes up saying the audio isn't on. I'd like either the Home Screen, or the Clock as the default.

Don't believe you can set the start up screen. A little trick I use is to remap one of the steering wheel controls to the clock with Honda hack.

So every time I get in I just tap that button and it sets my head unit to the clock. Easy peasy
My 2017 Touring always comes up on the last kind of screen that I was on when I turned the car off.
Yeah.. Hondahack has many cool features..(it even bypasses startup warning).
page 270 of the owners manual.
Wallpaper Setup
I know in Honda Hack there is an option to start up on the last screen used. I use that by default.
I know the wall paper can be changed by long pressing a blank spot on the main screen. It will bring up a menu for changing the wallpaper.

It can also be done via the menu by:
(Settings – System – Others – Change Skin)

What button and how did you 'remap' it?
In the stock HeadUnit and software, I don't believe you have the option.

Everything appears to be pre-programmed to go through the startup logo, followed by safety warning notice, and then it will move to your last screen used.
Then how do you get back to the screen with just the time displayed after doing something else?
You can also insert a USB drive, with a picture on it and upload it. (17 LX)

Do not turn off the radio. Leave it on and turn down the volume if you don't want to hear the radio.

Also check Settings > System > Memory Refresh > On (not Off).
