I just bought a 2007 LX with factory steel wheels that are pretty ugly, I'm afraid. I thought it would be no big deal to buy some used factory alloys and change them out, but my initial research raises questions, which are:

Some companies (who sell wheels) say the existing Honda TPMS sensors will work with new wheels, but others say they won't. Thoughts?

My Honda OEM steel wheels are 17" diameter, and (may be) 6.5" wide. Can anyone confirm the width?

Best I can tell, lug pattern is 5 lug, 4.5 inch / 114.3mm. Can anyone confirm?

I really would like to have Honda factory wheels or something that looks similar. I assume I can use wheels from any Honda so long as they meet the size and lug pattern?

Offset is another important consideration.

A tire dealer such as site sponsor Discount Tire might be able to help you if you cannot find the answer online. They surely could help with the TPMS sensor question as well. (I'd be wary of using 10 year old sensors in new wheels...they don't last forever. You may be wise to buy new sensors.)

Another thing to consider. In my experience with Honda and other brands is that alloy wheels have different design of lug nuts to steel wheels.
So factor in the cost of buying the correct lugnuts.
Get the shop to fit new TPMS sensors. They really do start to fail after 8-10 years.

Goods input, thank you. There's a place called Wheelership online that sells a Honda copycat OEM wheel for about $99, probably a good deal. The TPMS sensors can be found on Amazon actually. Now I just need to put it all together.

The Honda steel wheels and alloy wheels use a different TPMS sensor, from what I've seen. That is why I'm hesitant to get aftermarket wheels--there is no telling what sensor will fit.

According to our wheel data, the O.E. wheels are 7.5" wide with +45mm offset.

This is correct, the bolt pattern is 5-4.5" (5-114.3).

Not all Honda wheels will work and this is due to varying spoke design (caliper clearance), bolt patterns (Ridgeline), and offset (stance) - just to name a few. Before purchasing anything I would verify with the seller that the wheels you're interested will indeed work.

On a side note, I realize you're after factory style wheels, but if you haven't already, you may want to check what Discount Tire has to offer. If you enter your vehicle information through the Discount Tire website, all the wheels that populate are guaranteed to fit your stock vehicle - this option takes alot of the guesswork out of what wheels fit.
