Another small problem with my 2000 CR-V LX. The fellow I bought it from have several small children and activated the child locks on the rear doors. My kids and grand kids are grown so I don't need the child locks. Driver's side deactivated OK. Passenger side stays activated weather the little switch is up or down - should be up to deactivate. It also doesn't have the same feel as the driver's side.

Any body run into this problem and know what's involved in fixing the problem?

From your description, sounds like the passenger side switch is not connected to the lock, good luck.

Had to remove the door panel to see what was going on. First the rod was disconnected from the inside door opening handle. Second found the child lock mechanism stuck. Played around a bit and freed it up. Door now working fine form the inside.
