I just bought a new 2019 last weekend. I have about 180 miles on it now. Over the first week I started hearing a clicking sound emanating from the steering wheel when steering. Does anyone know what could be causing this sound?

Isn't there a TSB or recall about something in the steering wheel? Not sure what the details are.

The recall is about chafing of wiring at the pivot point, so I'd tell your dealer. I'm still waiting for my parts but the service manager did ask first if I had any noises, problems with the steering wheel buttons, or warning lights, so definitely call or drop by. Parts are coming in slowly although the actual repair only takes a couple hours I understand.

The dealer will replace the cable reel and cable reel sub-harness, and install a protective cover on the steering wheel core for free.
