Hello,
I am new to this forum and am hoping for some help.
The controls on my steering wheel, e.g. radio, cruise control, etc... did not work.
I read that is may be the clock spring assembly.
I purchased this item and followed the instructions to replace it.
This went well.
I then reset the air bag assembly and this also went well.

The only issue I am now having since the replacement is that my D "drive" light flashes, the parking brake stays on, the VSA and traction control lights stay on.

I had the car scanned and the only code that came up was U0122---LOST COMMUNICATION WITH VSA MODULATOR--CONTROL UNIT

I asked a Honda mechanic and he said I needed to take off the positive connection from the battery and leave it off for 30min to reset the computer.
This did not work.
I took the center console side panels off and unplugged the wire harnesses there for at least 10 minutes. No avail.

Any ideas on how to get these lights to go out? I think it was caused by my taking the steering wheel apart to install the clock spring assembly.

all help welcome.

I guess I should double check, but I did replace it last winter.
I wouldn't think it would be bad yet??
