I searched but didn't find the right answer.

My '19 is brand new (under 600 miles) but I'd like to keep a jug of oil handy just in case I need to top it off. I thought I saw the correct type in the owners manual but I can't find it now. I know the answer is out there........somewhere.

What's the correct oil (type/viscosity/whatever) for a 2019 EX-L?

TIA

0W20. It’s on the oil fill cap.

0w20 is only available in synthetic.

Much more likely that your oil level would be too high vs. ever being too low in this vehicle. You might be better off getting an empty oil container and an oil extraction tool instead.

Do keep an eye on it, especially during the winter when the magically raising oil levels tends to be worse/more common.

At the retail level, most 0W-20 is full-synth, although there are two semi-synth brands available; Honda and Motorcraft. (Motorcraft, despite being a Ford product, is available on the shelf at W-M.) At the wholesale level, who knows? It would not shock me if somewhere somebody is selling drums of 0W-20 conventional oil to quickie-lubes.
