Set up as a utility 4X4 for now. Back half can easily be added (4X8) later if/when needed. Easy one man up/down, stores standing up in the garage, cars still fit no problem.:)

That looks very handy!

I had a Kendon motorcycle trailer for years that stored in a similar manner.

The way you have yours set up would be just the ticket for yard supplies or for moving a mower.
I just sold a Kendon Big Bike Stand-Up trailer and 3 bikes after 13 years of the wife and I trailering around the country, riding here and there. The Kendon got to be a bit much for the wife and I to stand up (it's hell getting old).

We're done with gas guzzling p/u trucks so I figured the HF trailer can handle what won't fit into the back of the CRV. If we need a 4X8 bed/deck, I can easily assemble/add the back half of the HF trailer. Handy as a pocket on a shirt so far.

Here's a 40"X48" trailer from Northern Tool that I'll be selling. It also easily stands up for storage but is not on casters. I've added sides (on/off in 5 minutes) and LED lights.

HF is a dangerous toy store.....
That is pretty cool. Is this the one you bought? https://www.harborfreight.com/1090-lbs-capacity-40-12-in-x-48-in-utility-trailer-62645.html

It looks similar, but there are no casters and I don't see lights on yours.

For the time being, I'm only using the front 4X4 half.....I can easily assemble/add the back 4X4 half, to make it a 4X8. I relocated the lights to the rear just under the deck. Pleasantly surprised that it cam with LED lights.

The black trailer (post #4 Northern Tool) I'll be selling is virtually identical to the red 40"X48" in your link.
