Today we drove our 2014 CR-V in light snow for the first time. We found getting it to stop on an icy road was a big challenge. Once the anti-lock kicked in the vehicle was sliding and was very hard to get to stop. My wife and I both noticed this. We have both had other vehicles with anti-lock brakes that didn't seem to lock up as easily. The last was a 2018 Hyundai Sante Fe. Could it be that the light weight of the CR-V causes it to lock up easily? Do other CR-V owners notice this?

The brakes don't lock up hence they're abs, get better tires.
Also, never knew the '18 Santa Fe was out already.. :)
I put Nokian WRG2 SUV's on our Crv and love them so far.
Much better than the stock rubber, also make sure your pressure are correctly set.
I live 5 hrs N/W of Thunder Bay Ontario so I confident so say I know a little about winter driving ..
