My cruise control in a 06 V worked fine with the head lights in the off position with the advisory light in the cluster and the ability to fully control via the steering wheel controls. However, if cruise is set and the lights are turned on, the cruise kicks off and the advisory light in the cluster goes out. Cruise control can't be turned on again no matter how the power and control switches are mashed. When the lights are set to off, the cruise can be engaged again (with the advisory light in the cluster). I've checked all the fuses under the hood and on the driver's side. No blown fuses. I'm not sure when they stopped working. Thoughts?

Possibly the system voltage is dropping enough to turn off cruise control when the headlights are turned on. Check your voltage with and without headlights.

As a general rule, cruise control systems are disabled when the brake lights are engaged. Make sure there isn't a short in your tail lights causing the brake lights to come on with the headlights.
