My 2002 CRV driver's side door actuator needs to be replaced. I bought the car used in Guatemala, where I live part time, about 6 months ago. It has only 90 K Kilometers on it (Original for sure). If I am correct, there might have been a recall on the Original part. I am about to buy a replacement Online and a friend is going to hand carry it down to me in a couple weeks. I am wondering if anyone has an opinion if the after-market replacement, which is cheaper, might not be better, since there were known problems with the original. The cost difference for the Honda part is only about $20 and normally I would go with the OEM part, but think it could fail and I'd have the same problem. Opinions?
